The Gila, in fiber.

I’m excited to see this new piece come into being.  It is inspired by the wilderness that I adore, the Gila. (Pronounced he-la) Whenever I am not there, I dream of being immersed in her beauty.  I miss the Gila as I miss a loved one.  This piece will be woven with a naturally dyed raw silk weft, and will be for sale via random draw.  I look forward to sharing more of the story and inspiration behind this piece as it moves along.
