Woven on a warp of Black Walnut dyed organic merino wool with a weft of naturally dyed silk/merino/seacell and chunky merino. The dyes used for both the weft and fringe were cochineal, sandalwood, buckthorn, black walnut and marigolds. Into the weft was woven a sumptuous gathering of silk/merino/seacell fringe and inlaid designs. The designs are reflections of the butterflies that rode the wind by my loom as I wove in Cochise Stronghold.
