Today I wove, and cried, and listened to ‘A Sand County Almanac: and Sketches Here and There’ by Aldo Leopold.  It is a must read for everyone.   Truly.   The words published in 1949 speak as clearly, poetically and truthfully today.   I’m not sure how I’ve made it this far in life without reading it, and it is a disservice to society (and the earth) that this book isn’t required reading for all kids in school.    To describe it would not do it justice.  Please put it on your reading list if you haven’t already.   The audio version I listened to had an introduction by Barbara Kingsolver that was quite wonderful, and not to be skipped.

A large pile of loopy, fluffy, soft, warm and cuddly cowls are nearing completion.
