Two Weavings
Hello dear followers,
A random draw and silent auction are now under way. They will both end Tuesday, February 7th.
For more information, and to enter the random draw for a chance to purchase Spectral Rainbow Tussah Shawl.
This piece is the first of its kind from my loom. The naturally dyed Tussah is lusciously soft and weighty to the touch, the silk has a feeling truly unlike any other. It is quite a bit heavier than the raw silk that I usually use, and the selvedges are not hemmed, compared to my usual hemmed selvedges on most of my larger weavings. Please note, I do not know if this shawl will be suitable for baby-wearing. It is 2.6m in length with hand-twined fringe on each end.
You can see a full album of photos of this piece on my website.
Glittering Eyes Handwoven Art Yardage is now available via silent auction. For more information, and to enter.
This piece was woven on a warp of organic cotton-linen with a weft of hand dyed raw silk in extensive tapestry woven detail. It measures 5.4m with hand-twined fringe on each end. You can find a full album of photos of this piece on my website.
And above all,
Watch with glittering
eyes the whole
world around you
because the greatest
secrets are always
hidden in the most
unlikely places.
Those who don't
believe in magic
will never find it.

A reminder - Sustaining members will receive 3x entries for their one on the random draw.
Thank you all for your continued support of our work. I hope you have a beautiful day,
